Our family-run company continues to grow simply by reputation and recommendation and since our modest beginnings in 1979, trading initially in glass from Long Stratton, we have moved with the times but not forgotten our roots, as a result of this we still cut glass to order and carry out all forms of glazing work including installing glass, mirrors, splash-backs, sealed units, secondary glazing systems etc.
From humble beginnings, our operation has continued to expand and we are now one of the leading, most successful home improvement companies in the Norfolk & Suffolk area. This is largely thanks to our commitment to providing a truly dedicated customer-focused service.

FENSA Registered Company
uPVC windows and Doors are now energy efficient, therefore thanks to new government building regulations, there are minimum standards of energy efficiency that window, door and conservatories fitted in the UK must meet.
The regulations are known as “Document L” (Document J in Scotland) and they set energy efficiency targets that reduce heat loss from frames and glass to help Great Britain meet its commitment to reduce Greenhouse gas emissions.
To ensure that you fit replacement windows and doors that meet these new standards, the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) and other industry bodies, with Government encouragement, have set up FENSA – Fenestration Self-Assessment scheme. Registered Companies in the FENSA scheme provide you with a certificate confirming that their windows/doors comply with the new regulations. Installations by FENSA – registered companies are subject to random inspections by the scheme’s representatives.

The G.G.F. is a trade association recognised as the leading authority voicing companies who make, supply and install flat glass, windows, film or plastics in the UK. Stratton Glass and Windows Ltd are members of the GGF, consequently when supplying windows, doors, conservatories and glazing products we have to abide to the GGF customer code and practices set out by the GGF.
