Solidor Composite Stable Doors
The Stable Door, Dutch door or half door is a great compliment to any home. Not only does it make any home stylish especially countryside cottages in Norfolk and Suffolk but it has the practical use of safely keeping the children and the family pet in the home while welcoming in the summer.
At Stratton, we provide uPVC stable doors, composite stable doors and Solidor stable doors.
Solidor Stable Doors
uPVC stable doors are the least expensive. They are made using uPVC frame then glazed with panels. The stable composite door is thermally efficient but due to its foam core it is only available in a few designs.
For composite doors we mainly recommend the Solidor composite stable door for our Norfolk & Suffolk customers. This is because of the Solidors security and aesthetic features.
Traditionally timber stable doors need painting every 3-5 years, they are draughty, and are susceptible to rot. Solidor is a true timber alternative. Its timber core gives the strength and feel of a timber door but it is coated with a plastic skin. Therefore the Solidor comes with the low maintenance and 10 year guarantee benefits of uPVC.
Combining traditional furniture options, a wide range of colours, designs and glass options the Solidor is sweeping up the stable door market. Solidor comes with the high security Ultion Cylinder as standard. This is a 3 start lock meaning it is anti snap, anti bump, anti drill and anti pick.
Don’t just take our word for it though. Come into our showroom for a knock test.
