Slim light double glazed sealed units (IGU’s) are designed to be a practical solution to modernising listed and protected properties.

The units can be made with 12mm or 9mm thick, and with the addition of a coating (soft coat: Planitherm) and Krypton Gas a u-value of 1.2 can be achieved. This would meet the modern stringent building regulations of double glazing without the need of compromising the frame to incorporate a thicker 28mm double glazed unit.

We also provide a comprehensive survey and fitting service to Norwich, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge for slimlights to assess heritage and listed properties. These units can be installed in the traditional face-puttied style of single glazing to achieve the correct look.
